Star of Sorrow - Esther

Otakon 2010 was the debut of the final evolution of Esther Blanchett from Trinity Blood. I pursued my dream and just went for it, the Queen. <3

I'm very happy with how it came out! I've been working on it for about 10 months now. All the stripes are hand painted, every pearl was hand beaded. I did most of this without the help of patterns, and the ones I did use, I altered greatly. She is a piece of work indeed, and I must say, I LOVED being the Queen of England for a few days! Can't wait to wear this again. Minor adjustments will be made, nothing drastic. A few things added here and there, but I'm so proud of this dress! <3

The scepter was completely original to the costume. I designed it myself based on the other works of the Queen Esther portrayal and altered it to fit this gown! Orb to match coming soon!
